Bio

Dr. Mike Ben has been practicing the art of dentistry since 1981 when he was stationed at the Public Health Clinic in Fairfax Oklahoma at the age of 24.

A two sport letter winner At Widener College in Pennsylvania, He was rated one of the top Lacrosse players in the U.S. while playing for the Golden Gate Lacrosse Club in California and led them to a state championship held at UCLA.

He was asked to play for the U.S. Lacrosse team in the World Cup in Australia and the North American Games at Air Force Academy but a devastating knee injury in 1979 ended his pro aspirations.

A 1981 graduate of The University of the Pacific Dental School in San Francisco, California. Dr. Ben holds both Fellowship and Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry which only half a percent of the Dentists in the United States hold.

Passionate about Continuing Education, Dr. Ben has accumulated close to 2000 hours from some of the top clinicians in the U.S. and abroad.


Dr. Ben and his wife Lisa have been married 22 years and have two teenage sons Michael and Steven and a daughter Sarah in Middle School. When he is not researching or inventing new techniques for Dentistry in his off time you can always spot Dr. Ben videoing and taking pictures of Woodland’s athletic events or in his pecan orchard grafting new cultivars.
